Pick this up.

What lies behind us and what lies before us.
Are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
The greatest mistake you can make in life.
Is to be continually fearing you will make one.
So wake up, forget past mistakes, forget you ever failed.
In fact forget everything.
Step up and release that animal inside.

Back to my blog finally, time to update again as requested by "Yu Ren Sheng". Last thursday was my Aikido camp, we were sort of unprepared but things turned out fine! The turn out rate was rather disappointing, less than half came for camp out of which a few didnt return for day 2. But day 2 was filled with fun, fun not because i planned it or what, even the freshies said so =) We had games that shoot bubble tea pearl, to "counter strike" water bomb games.. The most fun part to me was when im at the second floor, pouring cans of baked beans and mashed chin chow mixed with water and shampoo at the freshies (hugging together as a group). Though dirty but i guess they must have enjoyed it ^^ HOPE SO ! Thank you sensei, committee and those who turn up for this camp.

After the camp, it was the start of school again.. Life starts rotting from there, projects and mosiacs made me go ki siao already seriously. Dear poly students, just wonder if you have this habit > Playing during holiday, then keep thinking "aiya, still got tomorrow" and until the Sunuday afternoon you go "Aiya still got tonight". Night time come and u start panicking, you start burning midnight oil, last minute go and hug the Buddha Leg, but kana kicked by the Buddha. Well, that's poly life, make full use of holiday but not school days. =(

Sometimes you see me like emo, and when i "emo, guess what i've been thinking about? Eversince im in secondary 1 or 2 like that, i joined Taekwondo to learn to defend myself against bullies. After my black belt i went on to join Aikido, which focus on hand (Taekwondo on the other hand focus on leg), i thought i would be able to combine both and maybe come up with new martial art called "Aikondo" or name it after my name ShenglongDO! Haha just jokking im not that lame com'on. Okay, serious topic now, i thought i would be able to master alot of different martial arts like "Zhen Zi Dan", the flashpoint actor> my idol, but i realise that i got quite sick of fighting. I begin questioning myself, why did i learn martial arts in the first place? Perheps if i go back to dynasty ages, it will come handy to me, but at this modern age, what is the chance of getting a fight? Hardly, it would be mostly probably ended up in a gang of bullies beating you up. And even if there's a so called "1 v1", so what if i win, i still have to wipe my ass clean clean and go in squat.

Its a long thing to talk about, at times i have the agression to beat people up for nothing, but when you keep thinking deep about the origin of almost all martial arts, you will know its really for defending yourself, its about controlling yourself in some sense. Though sick of martial arts, but at times when you see it as a sport, it quite fun. IF i still have the motivation to, i would wanna continue to learn jiu jitsu, judo, and perherps muay thai. Definitely i have my low times, there was a time when im totally sicked of martial arts, and i didn't go for alot of trainings. Now im going to repay my Taekwondo instructor for all the years he taught me, PA competition, hope i can win back a medal for him =)
